BMR (Bolzy’s Mechanical Repairs) workshop was established in 2019 with the goal of providing the Mackay and surrounding district with affordable, honest, and reliable mechanical services.
Locally owned and operated, located in the northern beaches of Mackay. BMR prides itself on quality workmanship, friendly service, and offering a wide range of mechanical solutions to keep our community safely on the road.
Who We Are
Morgan
Director & Lead Mechanic
Morgan has had a passion for all things mechanical from a young age. He began his career at just 15 years old with a reputable, long-standing mechanic in Mackay, gaining experience on everything from classic vehicles to newly built models. Alongside this, he developed a strong interest in building and restoring classic cars of his own.
Morgan later moved “over the hill,” working for many years as a diesel fitter, while also running his mobile mechanical business on his days off. This combination of workshop and field experience helped shape his strong work ethic and broad mechanical knowledge.
In 2019, Morgan returned to Mackay to run BMR full-time, opening the workshop in the Northern Beaches with his partner, Denika. Together, they have built a family-owned and operated business that has become a well-known and trusted name in the community. Now operating for 5 years, BMR continues to grow, with exciting plans for future expansion
